A flexible syllabus, enabling training to be tailored to meet specific needs of employers & their employees. It gives participants the opportunity to build and develop more in depth managerial skills covering modules such as management of own resources, team leading, allocation and monitoring the progress and quality of work and ensuring health and safety requirements are met.

Who will benefit:
This NVQ is designed for first line managers who have decision-making responsibilities within defined limits and wider responsibility for people, their performance and also assess their knowledge and understanding of key management activities.
Entry requirements:
No formal qualifications are required, but participants should be employed in a managerial role in order for them to build their work-based portfolio, and will undergo an initial assessment to determine the appropriate NVQ Level and optional units.
Course Aims:
The qualification concentrates on the development of consistent, competent performance in the workplace, which is then assessed against the standards. Because the NVQ is pided into units, it is possible for managers to complete a qualification, which precisely meets their own needs and those of their employer.
